You never disappoint! You criticize a Republican Icon, rather than admit any shortcomings attributable to Trump. Reagan was a rabid anti-Soviet. I think he would have low regard for anyone who allied themselves with a KGB Colonel. As for glasses, actors back then avoided them becase they conveyed an image of weakness. Bruce Dern said that nearsightedness gave many actors a squint that looked like sincerity. Reagan seemed to have that. I have no delusions about how Reagan would regard Democrats.

I was only half joking about Reagan. I'm sure many 'stars' were ruled by vanity. But this talking point is getting to me. Trump never dodged a draft because he was never drafted. You can make a case for bribery or rich privilege but many rich politicians seemed to avoid war, like Biden, Dubya Bush, Clinton, Blumenthal (lololol)

I will forgive you for not understanding that being called for a physical, the reason Trump got a written excuse for having "bone-spurs," was the first step of being drafted. So, he was in the process.

I forgot to correct you about Reagan's service. He accepted the honorary commission given to many actors. But, he served by producing educational films for the Department of War, for free. He served in what is now the Armed Forces Radio and Television services.
