This dipshit thinks he can dictate foreign policy. He wants there to be NO discussion about Ukraine aid. According to Vindman, Ukraine gets aid no matter what, no questions asked.

It is not the place of an Army Lt. Col. to dictate foreign policy. That responsibility rests with ELECTED officials.

It wasn’t, and it was never even mentioned, especially not in the way Quid Pro Joe pulled a shakedown on them, demanding they fire that prosecutor or no money. This time hey got their money and no one ever said a word to them about requiring them to do anything. You need to quit watching CNN. It’s rotting what’s left of your brain.

Under the Constitution, the president is the federal official that is primarily responsible for the relations of the United States with foreign nations. The president appoints ambassadors, ministers, and consuls (subject to confirmation by the Senate) and receives foreign ambassadors and other public officials.

POTUS makes that decision LEGALLY, not a LT. Col.

Yeah, good luck using that argument to justify withholding 400 million till a foreign national agrees to dig up dirt on a political opponent. A direct violation of law and an impeachable offense.

Releasing funds undermines the narrative that it was part of a quid pro quo. That isn't something for something, it's something for nothing. And the whistleblower complaint was undermined by the transcript. And Vindman admitting that he attempted to alter the transcript undermines his credibility.... Do you see where this is going? It's going nowhere.

The whistleblower said in their report that the transcript was word-for-word..... So either Vindman is a liar, or the whistleblower is a liar.

The transcript even had a disclaimer at the bottom informing people that it was NOT word for word. The whistleblower blew the whistle weeks before the transcript was released or probably even written.
