I wouldn't be so sure. I read metapolls which reduce sampling inaccuracies and the influence of sampling malpractice, and I've not seen Trump's popularity raise one iota since he took office - if anything it's gone down, although that's been very volatile, swinging as high as comparable to his 2016 but never above it.

That's not true. Statistical science is advanced enough - the problem is when people only look at the one that fits their narrative. Once you take an average over multiple samples, that divides out of the equation (literally) and you get a good snapshot of what's really going on again.
