What if you're an atheist, though?

Speaking as an atheist, I accept it with gratitude. Jeez, you don't have to believe in god to be grateful to someone else wishing you well in the manner of their own faith.

I mean, it's like if someone said "my prayers are with you", how is that any different than you saying "my /thoughts/ are with you"? What makes your thoughts worth any more than their prayers? They're BOTH utterly useless to the person being spoken to in a time of suffering or grief, when you come right down to it.

I know, thank you for your word on the subject, we just have somewhat different opinions/views in atheism, which I do not hold against you. But thank you for the comment.

Atheism means not believing in the existence of god, it doesn't mean taking every opportunity to loudly deny the existence of god to every christian you come across.

I do not deny every opportunity, some of my good friends are christians, but I do not deny them just because of their religion, because, as I said, they are good friends to me. I just do not believe in god, and that is it, but I still thank you for your word.

That was probably the same $200 that they both had.
