He was bragging about his diplomatic ability. The effort to remove a prosecutor who was a bipartisan threat to US interests not Biden’s own personal interests. His son was not under investigation nor was the investigation relevant to Hunter Biden’s involvement in the company.

Trump long knew of Biden’s involvement in the removal of that prosecutor and didn’t bother investigating it until it became relevant in his campaign efforts. Three years and no investigation until when? When it becomes convenient for Trump’s personal interest to see Biden removed from the Presidential Campaign.

In fact it seems to me, that if Trump defines corruption in that way and if he had any real goal to remove that kind of corruption, then he wouldn’t be flooding it with every department head in his administration who all have their own personal interests involving the deregulation or dismantling of their respective departments from the inside out.
