Let me put it in terms you can understand. If I had a pound for every gender there is, I would have 2 pounds and a lot of monopoly money (2 pounds 'cause 2 genders).

not about currencies. about the number of genders. that's why all the monopoly money. monopoly money is fake. can't spend it anywhere. so all of the made up genders (there are only 2 real ones) represent fake money. dollars, pounds, pesos, lira, euro...the currency does NOT matter!
