Ever get the impression global warming is becoming the next boogeyman?

The predictions that are mostly privately funded don't have direct proofs between many disasters people say are caused by the global warming, but we can link high CO2 emissions to average temperature levels increasing in recent years due to the emissions, not natural heating periods. Anyways, like always, government planning would remain stagnant and waste money so we should let the free market drive the prices of things like renewable energy down while bringing the quality up. This happened with TV, cars, internet, lighting, housing and more throughout the time the west has adopted free markets. It will also happen with clean energy if we get the government out of clean energy production and management.

You're talking about events that took place when our ancestors were basically rodents at that point.

Permian-triassic I am pretty sure they were still reptiles. They did survive it, though :P
