Congress is elected by popular state votes, not electoral college

It astonishes me how much people don't know how our system works, especially our own President. Sometimes I have to point out things to people as well. For those who do not know, our state representatives are voted by democracy, and our committees, presidents and supreme court judges are elected by republic.

In context, Pelosi was referring to the impeachment probe, not congress.

Voters do not decide who honors their oath of office, congress does. Yes, we the voters can decide whether or not they keep their office, but inquires, probes, and committees are congress jurisdiction.
