The White House are the ones who withheld the evidence in the first place!

Which, spoiler alert, *is an impeachable offense*!

There was never an official investigation, they withheld nothing, they refused to comply with illegal request.

The request was absolutely legal and this is a real crime.

No it was not, the vote was never issued, nobody authorized the investigation, it was just Democratic politicians trying to strongarm Trump into submission.

The Inspector General had every constitutional right to demand to see the evidence and Trump had no legal standing to withhold that evidence, and this puts the entire presidency in jeopardy.

All of it legal.

Only once the vote has passed trough congress, Judge has every right to send you to prison, but only after you were pronounced guilty, it's called due process.

And, by the same due process, the prosecution is entitled to evidence relevant to the case against you. You may not withhold it, destroy it, or tamper with it.

See, that's the thing: they absolutely were! The requests for the relevant documents were absolutely official in every legal sense.

He's not getting out of this. Make your peace with the legality of these proceedings.

No,l they were not, to initiate official proceedings you need to pass a vote, the vote was not passed, and it won't be since the Dems decided to withdraw (probably to hide the nothing burger they have), you know you can't just criminally persecute someone without probable cause right? Sorry, it's 4 more years of Trump any way you slice it, he is slated to win in an even bigger landslide in 2020, and Democrats are a house divided, tearing each other apart at every opportunity, they are trying to remove Trump illegally because they know they stand no chance of beating him in 2020.

All the IG has to do is say "the complaint is credible and serious. Let's see the documentation."

And he did.

That is ALL that needs to happen. And it did.
