which has been further and further marginalized in colleges across the country.except for the ivy league and more prestigious of institutions of higher learning.
the problem isn't young people who may not fully comprehend their own interests.
we were all young..and stupid..at one time.
the problem is education itself.
now education has become a system of indoctrination to produce system managers to prop a system they do not fully understand.
as evidenced by many commentators on this site, who are rocking that D+ they got in 9th grade civics.i am not trying to be a dick in this regard, just an observation.
I am not even disparaging these people.
it is not their fault.
they simply lacked a solid education to have the proper tools to disseminate:propaganda, dog whisting, psuedo intellectualism dressed up as academia simply because the personality speaks with authority.
which is another sad,yet predictable result of teaching by rote.
a tacit complicity to authority.
a real education means you not only question authority, but challenge it.
and the ruling class will not suffer any challenge.
our educational system, from public schools all the way to higher education.
has some serious problems.
