Nope. Pretty sure he was born in the USA. But he never proved it like he should have. And legitimate requests for proof were dismissed as "birthers" etc... Deflection like crazy. He still never did provide the long form birth certificate, just a summary. He was and is hiding SOMETHING and you folks let him do it.

Still was not a three year witchhunt as the GOP (and DNC) failed in their duty to require the proof, so nothing ever really happened.

my family are evangelical conservative Christians.

one of my greatest joys is to introduce my brother to fellow Christians.
to watch his eyes light up in that common bond of shared religious philosophy.
to watch his hungrily engage with his new brethren on Christ.
and then I inform him that his new friend is Mormon.

he literally deflates...VISIBLY....

But you didn't introduce him to a fellow "Christian", but to a Mormon. Enough said on the matter, Mormon are not in fact Christian (though some ignorant Mormons might truly have accepted Christ IN SPITE of the teaching of the Mormon religion).
