Correct. Their only loyalty is to their establishment, getting re-elected repeatedly. and if they lose an election the establishment will make sure that they simply take another job within the establishment.

you can't serve two masters.
you can't continue to aggressively promote corporate,neo-liberal policies and pretend you are the party of the "working people".
you can't build coalitions on "unity" and undermine a whole section of your own party.
you can't state for months that impeachment is off the table,but the MILISECOND one of "theirs" is attacked,and exposed for cashing in on his station for him and his family?

I believe Biden is nothing more than a sacrifice, a goat staked at the perimeter of the herd to be attacked and eaten saving the herd. They just didn't count on their idiot candidates to jump on the crazy train with all the extremist socialist gun grabbing talk OUT LOUD. They didn't want to say all that but now it's come down to a piss'n contest to prove who is the most Fascist/leftist/extreme. And lastly the DNC wants a female to run and Biden is in the way.
