What's to say you try to summon dear aunt Lucy to say hello, she opens the door, and something else comes through...just dont play with fire, that's my recommendation.

What kind of evidence would it take to convince you? Personal experience of something paranormal? Because evidently the experience of others doesn't hold any weight for you. Not being snarky I genuinely would like to know what physical evidence would be needed to prove something non-physical. :)

I believe they do exist and can be summoned, however forcing them to appear or converse with us is unethical. I think the only exception is when they have made it apparent they wish to converse. As far as the way to contact them, we have to be careful, as over the centuries we humans have alienated ourselves from the innate spiritual connection to other planes of existence. It is too easy for the uneducated (in such matters) to be confronted with malicious entities.

I believe spirits are lost souls that have not been judged yet, or rather, don't want to be judged yet because they still have something they don't want to leave. Which shows why physical attachment is not good. You can force a spirit to come to you, but you shouldn't. Supernatural forces aren't something we can just mess around with. Though if we get involved in that kind of thing, I believe God can protect us.

Well, this is a story from my mom, but its the first time ive ever seen anyhthing. During this time, we were staying at my grandparents house, and my mom was gonna go give me a bath before bed, (I think I was 2-3 yrs old at the time) but before that, she went to go lock the door, leaving me on the stairs. When she was walking up the stairs, I just stared behind you and said, "Theres a man behind you..." but when she looked behind her, she saw nothing, and was like, "What are you talking about?" and continued to walk up, but I was still like, "Yeah, behind you." but she was so scared of what I was saying she just grabbed me and ran up the stairs. I still see shapes like that sometimes, like I see someone sitting next to me, or walk past me.

Ive seen other stuff too, and much worse, if you want to hear it. But ill stop here for now.

It's not my business, but share if you like. I'm interested in that sort of thing, but know better than to seek it out. My apartment in college was haunted, me and both of my room mates all saw things both together and separately. Can't be certain, but we felt it was a little girl for some reason. We'd see shadows, things would get moved in the middle of the night, and although I never had one of those nope nope nope moments, both of the others did and felt like they just had to leave until someone else was home. The landlords admitted that the penthouse apartment on the upper floor had been investigated before and they no longer rented it for that reason. Our apartment was directly below it.
