I’ll admit my information on this is fuzzy but feel free to add to or correct any of the following. I do not have my notes in front of me and this is purely off of memory.

In 2013, Hunter Biden joined a Ukraine corporation.

At the time, the US was condemning the Ukrainian government for widespread internal corruption. One of the lead prosecutors investigating the situation was actually more interested in covering up the corruption.

Vice President Biden played his hand to get the prosecutor fired so that corruption charges could proceed. At no point did his son come up in this conversation. Nor was his son even under investigation.

This all was just an attempt to spin Biden as nepotist, the same man who refused to run in 2016 because he had lost one of his sons, in an attempt to get him to back out of the 2020 election.

A stunning political maneuver but executed poorly enough to merit impeachment proceedings.

Because, unlike Biden, Trump actually had a conflict of interest to undermine his political opponent while Biden had zero conflict of interest at the time of his bid to fire the prosecutor.
