when your lying in bed and look across your room

I couple of months ago I almost gave myself a heart attack...

first of all I'm virtually blind w/o my glasses...
3am I'm up to get a glass of water
in the light of my refrigerator, out of the corner of my eye,
I see what my brain tells me is a child in all white w/ an Orange head (I Live alone)

2 seconds later logic sets in... It's the right half of my stove ( i had a dark hand towel hanging from the door handle) with my red Cooking Pot sitting on the front burner

you have no idea...
