Well for one thing, the Justice System doesn't sentence people to death over stupid things.

How about killing children for the actions of their parents, forcing rape victims to murder their rapists, sending somebody to be killed so that others can be forgiven, lumping the innocent with the guilty, the list is endless.

This stuff is in the Bible.

There are multiple stories where Yahweh destroys or orders the destroying of entire civilizations. Deuteronomy has the thing involving rape victims being forced to marry their victims. There's the whole Jesus story. The whole Bible describes innocents being lumped in with guilties.
