Are they though? Melting in general? Not just from seasons and Elliptical Earth Orbit?
Either way, any excess would be evaporated, if the Earth gets warmer due to solar activity and proximity, then be turned into rain, which would be dropping down on some land, some ocean, cooling the earth as it falls and condenses due to low pressure or low temperature in the atmosphere.
The precipitation that lands on Earth, flows into aquifers, the soil, so the ocean "raising" most of it would go to the land, soil, aquifers, and isn't to be worried about. Some of it will go to feeding plants which would help deal with the excesses, then eventually return back to glaciers/polar-ice, in the processes.
We understand the sun is slowly expanding and would eventually heat the whole planet up, to the point we'd have to live underground or under the sea, then off planet.
So the warming process would be naturally happening anyway. Any challenges we come across would help develop more technologies. More babies more chances of geniuses with good healthy genetics, not being poisoned down with fluoride, vaccines, GMOs, petroleum, nuclear waste toxins, GeoEngineering, if we can demand our corrupt governments to stop it or we revolt and bring it back to nature with advanced technologies that they have been keeping from us.
Either way, everything will work out. CO2 is plant-food and is not a pollutant, and any rising water levels will get rained on the soil, rock, everywhere it's needed, new streams and rivers will be formed, to keep up with the demand of area of water. It'll be fine if we stop fk'ing with Earth, not make some global taxation that won't help.
