Monkey Raising Hand | GRADUATED MAGNA CUMLAUDE FROM MY HIGH SCHOOL | image tagged in monkey raising hand | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I guess I should mention I was homeschooled ;). Kidding aside I did graduate magna cum laude, on the dean's last for all 4 years of university and several scholarships so that I didn't owe a single cent when I graduated.

Poetry dude | I WON A POETRY COMPETITION | image tagged in poetry dude | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Lol, I couldn't help laughing when my name was announced as I had deliberately written a poem that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Won a fifth grade science fair gold medal on a project to see how many fruit loops of each color were in different brands of fruit loops. Name brands, off brands, store brands, etc. It was a take on statistics, but I really just ended up with a 6 month supply of cereal, and some of that off brand junk was funky, took forever to eat it.

Must be why you're such a fruitloop now, ;) that's pretty clever for a 5th grader.

my dad was a science teacher so I ended up doing a lot of stuff like that as a kid. He and I brainstormed the idea, but he was big on us doing our own work so I had to pull the whole "study" together myself, scientific method and all that jazz...

That's great. I guess your dad understood as a teacher and a good parent that kids learn best when they can do their own work.

Yeah he is very hands on, always taught me that if something was broken just try to fix it...I mean how much more broken can you make it? That mentality is probably a big reason that I learn things best with hands on experience, and probably why I'm an engineer today. I've fixed I don't know how much stuff around my house because I'm not afraid to dig in.

It was called the leaning tower of Pisa shit. It involved a stick, the hood of a car and a healthy dog turd. But i was 10 and it probably collapsed before long.

Sometimes you dont need an image to demonstrate, and just let the words and imagination do all the work. You've accomplished this concept at it's highest level today son. Congratulations!

I won blue ribbon in the county's elementary school speech competition (I was about 11-years old ). Then at 16 I received the Miss Congeniality award in a beauty pageant.
