If you could choose what Stream Moderators, Community Moderators, Global Moderators were up to, what would that be?

There should be a periodic vote of who is the most reviled memer, and providing they are truly annoyoing and not just getting everyone butthurt because they're just so dandy, the 'winner' of the tally should get their account appear to be deleted, but only for like 2 days. Maybe 4. Just to teach them a lesson that life is a mofo at times.

I think there needs to be more global moderators and a way for moderators to contact eachother privately about issues that may arise. For example if your stream is invaded by a troll or those who don't follow the streams' aims there should be a way to report that to a higher up.

I think mods should get 15pts/hr payment for putting up with trolls, flags, annoying memers and downright bad memes being submitted. At least make it a sliding scale pay based on type of mod and amount of activity. paid holidays and a 401k too ;)

My eyes perk up at the bad stuff I see sometimes, but I laugh here every day, that's what keeps me coming back. Endless funnies.

So you're a community MOD does that mean you can delete comments in my stream or approve submissions? And how do we find a global mod when we need them? (I realize anonymity is probably preferred because of trolls but at least should be accessible to other MODS. IMO.

I can't approve submissions in this stream, but could if a stream owner sent me an invite and I accepted.

Stream Moderators and Community Moderators will only see the approval queue for streams they either own or have accepted an invite to moderate. Not sure about what Global Moderators can see, probably anything they want.

Seeing items in the approval queue is dependent on the stream settings the owner selects. If a stream is set for "No approval required." the owner and Moderators in that stream won't ever see an approval queue.

There are certain actions Community and Global Moderators can take anywhere on the site for content or conduct outside imgflip.com/terms

Mods are both underrated and overrated. When they are underrated they are invisible. Overrated is when they tamper with a functioning community. The latter tends to be people are either new to being a mod or came from a modding position in a dysfunctional community.

Ah. Because of my past decisions, I doubt I would ever gain that status anytime soon.

And regardless of how many times I say I change, there is always something to tempt me. But, this time I'll try harder not to get myself into such a mess again.
