Watching a car accident in real life

I was in a very bad car accident and what I remember going through my head at the time (other than the windshield) was I finally had a story my friends couldn't top.

Damn

I actually saw a woman riding her bike when she got run over by a bus. Haunts me to this day.

She didn't survive did she?

Oh jeez, I don't even remember, it was so long ago. I'm guessing not, though.

I did almost get hit by a car on my bike. I went just before the light was green and the car ran a red

I remember the sub coming toward me an I got out of the way. I was quite embarrassed afterwards

I got 8 stitches in my eyelid when I was 10. Watching that needle with the thread coming down each time was horrifying.

Where were the anesthetics?!

There are no anesthetics for the eyelid unless they knock you out and they did not.

Well, why didn’t they knock you out?!

8 stitches is not enough to put a person out. They just had a couple a large men hold me down and placed a restraint around my head. Still was not fun. Nor was having to wear an eye patch for the rest of summer.

Too long ಠ_ʖಠ

The time my dad had a heart attack...I still remember it.

When I was very young (four) I got scarlet fever and my temp got to 105. I don't remember passimg out or my mom getting me to the ER, but I do recall coming to to find myself being held down in a large basin of ice. I was terrified - in part I'm sure because I just wasn't sure what was going in or where I was. They had to do it, of course, so no hard feelings. I remember Mama telling me later it took eight people to hold me down in that ice, lol

I think it might be during the 4th of July on 2017, when I went to my friend’s vacation home. There was a pool, there, and in the pool was a huge inflatable that was something like 4 floaty seats with a cooler in the middle. I tried swimming under it to see what it looks like from below, and surely enough, it started following me as I tried swimming back up to the surface. I thought I was gonna drown, but somehow, I managed to resurface.

Cant say I've ever been scared like in fear of my life, but I was swimming in a river once and got into a rapid by myself, it was a wide river section and after the rapids i ended up in the middle of it floating downstream with very little orientation or wherewithal to know which way to swim. Luckily a friend witnessed the whole thing and guided me back to the riverbank. I ended up treading water for 15 minutes or so, was pretty tired. Honestly if my friend hadn't been there I'm not sure what I would have done but I would have gotten ashore somehow. In any case, I dont recommend river swimming to anyone without experience or someone to help them.

Got cought (in like an a 70 mph) hail/wind/hail storm while rollarblading. 😂

Getting caught in a riptide while out swimming at the beach. My dad caught me as I was being dragged farther into the water and then on the way back to shore saw a shark fin swimming around us that I could have touched. It jumped into the air and turned out to be a dolphin. All can say is if my pants weren't already wet, they def. were after that ordeal. Lol

Same thing happened to me (although no shark, or dolphin). I was rescued by a tourist. I haven't gone swimming since.

Can't say I blame you. It's scary.

Saw a woman run over by a bus, and this one time I went to a Halloween Haunted hayride + house.

You leave bad luck wherever you go.
