So, fun story. I went on a college-age spring break retreat, and a bunch of us were talking one day about our childhoods. One guy, straight as a ruler, said that he enjoyed Barbie dolls and item when he was a kid. He said he had no idea why. My quick-witted was surprisingly in the gutter, so I leaned over to a girl and quietly said, "Oh, I bet I can think of a couple of reasons." That poor girl started laughing so hard. Then, I hummed the first line of "Barbie Girl." She was down for the count. The guy overheard our laughter, and said, "Don't worry, you're not the first to laugh." I assured him we weren't laughing at him, but went in a totally different direction. He had no clue. To finish off the girl, I said, "Maybe this is why he smiles all the time!"

When I was a young and dumb kid in the construction industry the guys would pull pranks on me (that's your lot in the world on a construction site after all), so they would send me off to fetch wire stretchers and sky hooks, or blinker fluid for the truck or whatever they could think of. So when one of them asked me to go wire up the peckerhead on some piece of equipment I thought they were kidding again...nope, that's what it's actually called. The little wiring box on top of any electric motor is called that, true story.

Poor widdle thparky. Hims got picked on :/ but that's hilarious, lol

it's a right of passage on a job site, lol! after a while they cut back on the shenanigans, but when they stop altogether you know nobody likes you so it's sort of an endearment and means you're still in good graces. these days i'm sure it's different though with all the political correctness and people being so quick to call everything they don't like "bullying".
