That dude is just like me; I’m a bit of a nerd, I don’t chase girls, so they feel comfortable around me. I have a lot more female friends than any of my male friends-most of them are more interested in being friends with me than I am.

I have usually had more guy friends than girls. I fine other females to do too much backstabbing and gossiping. They pick their one or two friends who they are honest with and everyone else they treat like dirt. I like guys for friends because they are usually more honest and less gossipy.

I do find some of my girl friends gossipy, but I don’t mind so much, as long as we still have interesting conversations. Unfortunately, my mum has observed how many female friends I have, and constantly ribs me about when I’ll have a girlfriend or my first kiss...(I don’t know mum, but not very soon!)

I just hate it really when they wait until one of the group goes to the restroom and then starts bad mouthing like crazy.

It's better not to rush into the kissing and girlfriends and what not. You're wise to hold out. :)

Truth is, before I got acne (around age of 12 and three quarters), I had the opportunity to lose my virginity. Nowadays, I don’t think it’s an offer I’m going to be getting again (thanks again, acne!)

Especially when it comes to losing one's virginity, DON'T rush. I was in my 20's before I ever did that. This is something you have one shot at. You will never be able to have another first. It should be held in high regard, and the one you are with should should be a person whom you feel worthy of gifting your heart. This goes for males and females alike. Sex is so casual these days and no good has come of it. Quantity seems to matter more than quality. Not much feels worse than giving your body to a person who does not truly love and respect you, and not much feels better than giving it to someone who does. I understand people like to make jokes about people "still" being a virgin at whatever age. Not flippantly giving it away to just any meaningless person under whatever impulsive circumstances is something I look upon with respect. Some choose to wait until they are married, and that is even better, though it is rare. But yeah. DON'T squander your first time. Trust me on this one.
