I hope this is something that can be done.

To clarify, you can click the drop down to select specific streams BUT streams you follow will be the only ones you can ever search the tag in. Steams not followed will not show in the drop down. Maybe "all streams" would be a good option in the drop down.

The Imgflip search tool has an "All" option, unfortunately the tag results that are currently being returned are incomplete.

For now, you could paste this term into Google to get the stream tags you're looking for.

Thank you. That "All" option has never worked. It gives some of the memes with the tag but when you change the drop down to "all" the results do not change. You just get the "Fun" stream. I hope they are working in this. I will try your suggestion.

I remember someone had this issue. You can construct the url under each stream to search for the tag, but no way to globally find.

Now that I think of it I vaguely recall such a post here.

I could not agree more. It's so irritating to have to search a tag in each stream, or to me on a meme in a stream and click on its tag but it only shows results within that stream

I bet they never even thought about this. And I am surprised no one has mentioned it before now! I don't search tags a lot, but I figure we can't host a theme week if we can't find the memes! I hope no one feels slighted if we don't find their stuff!

It /has/ been mentioned before now, a few times. I've had a couple of different conversations about the fact that a unique tag I used on two separate memes doesn't bring them both up when I either search the tag text or click on the tag itself.

Or honestly didn't that much about it when it came around because I hadn't the need. Either way, I now understand what people were saying.
