NOTE: The use of colors in a rainbow fashion is not meant to show support for the LGBTQ community but done artistically.

When light is shown through a clear crystal stone; the angular nature of the stone results in a fracted light which reveals a color spectrum.

I hope you like it. :)

Sorry,. I don't quite know why I titled it as so, but it's too late for me to change it.

Hi Kate, thank you very much for your edition. :)

The 5 Solas are as follows:
1. Sola Scriptura
2. Sola Fide
3. Sola Christus
4. Sola Gratia
5. Soli Deo Gloria

I think most Protestants believe in only the 4 Solas, minus, Sola Gratia because they do not subscribe to Calvinism like I do.

All five are linked to the Reformation movement in that they're the doctrines that counters the RCc's.

1st Sola is against the Papal authority to interpret scripture.

2nd Sola is against the RCc's view on soteriology. The way to be saved is Faith + Works, which includes the 7 Sacraments (as you know, not all sacraments apply to all as Holy Orders are only for those of whom God calls to Priesthood to Monastic ministry)

3rd is in response to Mariology and Saint intercession, as well as, for the fact that Jesus alone saves, and not via, the church. Salvation is strictly personal and so does not involve the church.

4th is the most controversial among us obviously, but salvation is by Grace (salvation given undeserved by His sovereign choice), through faith (the means which the Elect enters to obtain eternal life)

5th is where it counters what it appears to us, Marian and Saint worship and so we say, all glory, should come to God alone.

I'll return later.

Hi Kate, I think that is about it.

I will all that these are the core, fundamental teachings of Protestantism, other than the doctrine of the Trinity. It is these that spiritually unites us Protestants all, and due to it's sheer importance makes all other doctrines, secondary (we call that, Periphrial Theology).

Do you have any questions, regarding?

Basically you are saying that it is the word of God because it says it is the word of God? That is a tautology.

Yes, and no. Yes, because it is the word of God as it came from God Himself. However, no because it proved itself.

Can you share specific cases in which it proved itself.

The Death and Resurrection of Christ.

In Daniel 9:26 it predicted Jesus' death and in Psalms 16:10 Jesus who is the "Holy one" will not remain dead.

The Apostles were direct witnesses to Jesus as He met them the day of His resurrection. All but one died for what they saw.

I checked both of them (https://biblia.com/bible/esv/daniel/9/26 and https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2016%3A10&version=NIV) and the prophecies were vague enough that tons of things could have fulfilled them.

Taken on their own, it can refer to anyone. However, there are a lot more prophecies of Jesus. In fact, there are so many that one can reconstruct the New Testament just by what was prophesied.

Detractors will often say that the prophecies were taken off context. For example, in Isaiah 53, the most well-known messianic prophecy on Jesus' ministry and death they claimed it was really about Israel and not Jesus based on ch. 52

However, was Israel bruised for our iniquities, chatised for our sins? Were we healed by Israel's suffering? The Jews did suffer all throughout history, which included the Holocaust, but were any of us healed by that? No.

Another example, Psalm 22 has a sprinkling of messianic prophecies. The same would say that that was only about David. After all, he wrote that chapter. However, was David's hands and feet were nailed?

The following site has a list of about 25 messianic prophecies: https://bible.org/article/messianic-prophecies: https://bible.org/article/messianic-prophecies

The odds of a prophecy being fulfilled is 50:50 so what are the odds of having all those fulfilled? I am not a mathematician but the odds are extremely high.

The problem with New Testament prophecies about Jesus is that it was written after his death.

You've asked that questions already
