if you simply look at who he appoints, and the reasons why,(loyalty over expertise and/or knowledge).
and his fawning over the worlds dictators, despots and authoritarians.
his apparent irritation when confronted with working with our systems of legislation i.e:congress,judiciary.
of which he has been extremely vocal about.
we can come to the reasonable conclusion that trump wishes for an autocratic rule and not the adversarial system we have (albeit weakened and dysfunctional, and possibly broken) now.
but how is trump any different from Clinton?
or Obama? (who was very adept at putting the appearance of obeying constitutional edicts, while simultaneously subverting them).
or even bush? who openly commented how it would be easier if he was a dictator.
the defining difference,in my opinion,is that while trump is absolutely a master of media manipulation,he is equally atrocious at hiding his disdain for our legislative process.
to me this is one of the boons of the trumps presidency.
his bumbling and buffoonish handling of our political process has brought to light the very rot and decay in our system.
americans are seeing,in real time, just how far the tentacles of corruption have reached.
and this can almost be exclusively be due to how blatant trumps power grabs have been.
now there are around 35% of americans who are devout trump supporters.they will not see what is obvious to the rest of us (just like obamaa supporters conveniently ignored obamas crimes, and bush, and Clinton etc etc).you will never change their minds, they are the cult of personality.
so don't even waste your time.
if you do.
you will be seen as the enemy of the state.
of America.
of god.
these people utilize the very same tactics that a fundamentalist Christian uses when they engage.
is trump a demagogue,an authoritarian media personality who desires more concentrated power?
absolutely....as are many politicians nowadays.
is he a tyrant?
not in my opinion.
