The Christian Right be like

This implies that the child is a person with a soul that the Lord “knew”. Even worse, that an abortionist kills it while He is forming it. Then go back to:

“You shall not murder”
Ex.20:13

Add to that one of the six things that the Lord detests:

“...hands that shed innocent blood”
Prov.6:17

And if that’s not enough, go to what Jesus says:

“But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

And that’s just to cause them to sin. How much greater the penalty to destroy an innocent child inside its mother.

But of course, like JakkFrost said, if you lie to yourself and say that it’s not a living human...

I'm no bible thumper, but it says it right in one of those commandment thingies; "Thou shalt not kill".

Of course, when you dehumanize a living human being, whether it be an African slave, a Native American, or a fetus, denying that they're even human, then you can easily convince yourself that it's not murder at all and therefore sleep at night.

So like I said: no, you can't point to the part where it says abortion is murder. All you can do is point to the first verse mentioning *something* about murder that pops into your head, do some circular reasoning to "prove" that abortion is included, and then get aggressive when somebody points out that your interpretation is not actually in the text.
