Ever misheard the lyrics of a song?

I guess I didn't ask the right question ;)

I always thought Maybe I'm amazed was Baby I'm amazed, not that mattered much. I have others, but nothing jumps to mind right now.

There is a band called "Young The Giant". They have a song "Life's too short". In that song I hear "Life's too short to eat a carrot ball". I am waiting for someone else to say that this is what they hear in that song.

Actually I never heard her say that, but one day we got to discussing this very topic and she admitted as much.

I didn't mishear them, but I certainly misunderstood them. And I used to sing this within earshot of my parents. A lot. They were heavily banking on my not figuring it out, apparently.
