Trump told this lie over 57 times!

President Donald Trump signed the bill re-authorizing, expanding and strengthening the law - i.e Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014.

Which Obama DID NOT do.

Also, I quote : "On April 27, 2017, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 13793 (Improving Accountability and Whistleblower Protection at the Department of Veterans Affairs) to help whistleblowers and increase accountability at the Department of Veterans Affairs."

Which Obama DID NOT do.

The bill was introduced into Congress by REPUBLICAN Hal Rogers of Kentucky.

Which the democrats DID NOT do.

So no - President Trump is NOT falsely taking credit. Trump took a weak, watered down law and gave it real power and real teeth. Trump added in real protections for whistleblowers. That's not falsely taking credit, that's doing everything that incompetent bumblef**k Obama FAILED TO DO.

Trump makes a few changes such as expanding eligibility - which is a good thing of course, but mostly small changes that don't have any significant effects, and then tries to claim he is the first president in 45 years to do something that, his predecessor actually did. So, Trmp's claim is dishonest.

One was an article, that you objected to, and I say, okay, fair enough, news sources can be biased, but the other was an unadulterated clip of the president speaking. All Trump took credit for was making the law PERMANENT, something all others failed to do.
