Seriously though, the best advice is to just remember two things. First: she probably already likes you, so you don't have to worry about impressing her too much. Just be yourself and don't spend half the night trying to be funny.

Second: keep in mind that she is probably just as nervous as you are. Knowing that will help you to have some confidence.

Chivalry goes a long way. Hold the door for her, pull out her chair, offer your jacket of shes cold. You know the whole thing about not kissing on the first date? Kissing her hand is an incredible gesture at the end of the night, you still get a kiss, she doesnt feel uncomfortable about it, and it's old school romance that wont be expected. Worked for me, you do what works for you and just be yourself.

Many people only show their good side to reel a person in then boom, out of nowhere their true colors come out and perhaps it's too late like after a wedding or you're deep into a relationship. Be yourself so that person can get to know you for you. Don't go into a relationship expecting to change a person. I've heard of too many girls get into bad relationships because they thought being sweet to a jerk would make him better. Same goes for a guy who dates a girl just for her looks but she has no brains or heart. Just be you, take it slow, the right person may come along. But keep your head on straight.
