I can't think of one atheist who supports Islam, even more the most famous atheists, such as Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens were accused of Islamophobia.... you'll just have to accept you are way off point here.
It’s easy to see anything that isn’t Christian as anti-Christian when you generalize and oversimplify everything down to an “us vs them” mentality.
False dichotomies make your stance seem incredibly narrow-minded. You can be atheist and fight for religious freedom. You can be Christian and not discriminate against Muslims. You can fight for religious freedom without alienating the rights of others.
When the right continues to use their perverted version of religious freedom as a tool of oppression, of course they see anyone else fighting for their religious freedom as an attack on Christianity.,
