So. I have a question.
God told Moses directly 10 Most Important Things. On the list of 10 Most Important Things being gay doesn't come up but murder for sure comes up. So, based on that scale murder is waaaaay worse than having sex with someone who has the same bits as you do.
Leviticus (the book of rules from the Levites, the tribe/caste of priests from the ancient Israelis) says that if you kill someone, you too need to be killed.
It also says don't wear cotton blend shirts. Don't eat shellfish. Don't get tattoos. Don't do incest. Don't sleep with your neighbors wife. Don't be gay.
Murder and Don't Sleep With Your Neighbor's Wife come up twice (on the 10 Most Important Things and Leviticus Standards & Rules). I mean, on the scale of things, the murder and neighbor-sexing seem way more important than don't be gay.
So, if it's against the rules to be gay and that means you can't be married- why is it okay for murderers and men who sleep with their neighbor's wives to get married?
Along with the people who wear cotton blends, eat shellfish, or get tattoos?
Interesting historical sidenote: the phrasing of the don't be gay rule in Leviticus is phrased to be speaking to men. It says nothing about women having sex with women. Which means, even back in ancient days, chicks having sex with chicks was hot.
