Who's your favorite? I like Crowder and needtobreathe! And Lauren Daigle beats Adele for vocals and depth any day!

I LOVE Mercy Me. Casting Crowns is another favorite and I agree with you about Lauren Daigle. I'm 99% sure that I have heard her on a secular station?!?!

Yeah they play her "you say" song on secular stations sometimes, and I think shes had some other crossover songs. Did you see the mercy me movie? It was really good.

If you're talking about "I can only imagine", yes, it was so good-poor kid!! But God has really blessed him! Are you familiar with "Even if"? Really great song:)

Yep that's the one! And yes, that song is really awesome. I love how he incorporates "it is well" into it, that is one of the most amazing songs ever and he paid really nice homage to it. If you've ever heard the history of how and why the author wrote it you know what I mean. If you haven't, you should look it up, its amazing.

Yes, I love "it is well..." And I do know the history. So incredible. Makes me want to have his faith but not if I would have to lose my family-don't want to find out if I have what it takes..

Of course, that would be horrible. But it's amazing testimony and very inspiring!

Listen to The Dead South.

I do, they are awesome. Little different take on the genre, but they cross over into a sound I love.

I can listen to classic rock radio all day and never hear the same song twice, that's what I like about it. Stations that play new music seem to just put the same crap on repeat.

One of the local radio channels plays classic rock. It's the only one I can bare listening to. You're right you'd never hear the same song twice.

I assume you like Skynyrd. Or The Allman Brothers. Particularly the dual guitar parts. Like Iron Maiden.

Skynyrd is good. Haven’t listened to much allman bros. I should give them a try. Iron Maiden is probably my favorite band.
3 ups, 6y
Haha, i was right yet wrong.

Seriously, check out The Allman Brother at the Filmore. They pioneered the dual guitar playing.

My taste in music is almost impossible to pin down and varies from moods, seasons, hour of the day....

Sunday mornings is classical music, Leaving work for the weekend is heavy beat type music, sometimes Funk or jazz. I listen to classic rock, but more often or not it’s a non-popular song from a famous band.

Blues, Texas rhythm and blues, bluegrass, Irish punk, rockabilly with a very heavy dose of swing and big band when the mood strikes. And more.

I think people who really appreciate music won't confine themselves to one genre. Mood has a lot to do with what music I'll choose to listen to on a given day. My favourite genres would be Rock, Punk, Alternative and New wave. But I try not to be a music snob.
Any classical music you'd particularly recommend? I like listening to it when I'm messing around the house.

Classical comes in many forms and you should sample it to find what tickles your fancy. I prefer piano concertos, but I like many others as well. Grieg is very easy to listen to and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata is excellent quiet time music. Someone made a two hour version of it that I sometimes put on in the morning.

Then there are the Loony Tunes classical collection. Hungarian Rhapsody a favorite and of course the Barber of Seville overture. An even some opera. Le nozze di figaro, k 492: act 1: scene 8: aria figaro non più andrai
