Reminds me of an anecdote. Both the word "Idem" and "Dito" mean "The same" in Dutch. This was in a youth camp, and which a girl had the turn to give the group their drinks.
Girl: "What do you want to drink?"
Boy next to me: "A Coca-Cola, please"
Girl: "And you, Jeroen?"
Me: "Idem"
Girl: "What does that mean?"
Me: "Dito"
Girl: "And what does that mean?"
Me: "The same"
Girl: "I was that far, but what did you wanna drink?"
(The boy next to me was rolling over the floor laughing, and the girl was in total confusion)
Girl: What's so funny.
Boy: "Well both 'idem' and 'dito' mean 'the same'"
Girl: "Yeah, I got that, but what's so funny about that?"
