I have a question. Can I request the deletion of a Troll account? I am if course refering to Colonel.Gylbert. At first I thought it was funny but gradually I began to realise that letting this go one was a bad idea. I request he be removed. I dont like it when people use my name to spread fake news and hate.

Choosing or changing usernames does not qualify. Nor does fake news- else we would have to delete every other subscriber.
Try to keep in mind that memes are satire anyway; they are not to be taken all too seriously.

As a general rule:
every comment provides a 'flag' option next to the reply option so MODs can get the context right.
It may be better policy not to reply to an insult and stir things up but to flag instead ("don't feed the troll").

as to your specific example
"your country killing millions" could be easily a framing attempt to lure you into denying which is a felony in Germany. Better not respond at all.

That username by itself is not enough to invoke the ban hammer. I have personally reviewed all their existing submissions and comments. I don't see anything against the Terms of Use, but if you do, use the feedback form imgflip.com/feedback or send an email with the details to [email protected].

There is a history of copycat accounts on Imgflip. The longer you've been here, the more original you are, the more that will pop up. Just ask Raydog, Beckett and the memer formerly known as socrates, others too. I've had a few copycats myself. When they do cross the TOS line, they tend to disappear. Funny how that works.

While it's clear to me who is behind the Colonel.Gylbert account, I know YOU are the original. It's kind of sad that he uses an alt account. Knock my socks off the way you used to, and welcome back.
