Alan Dershowitz, Harvard law professor and Democrat, stated a President cannot be found "obstructing" for executing a Constitutionally-granted power, no matter how it may appear to outsiders. In any event, he didn't do it, and he didn't "attempt" it. If he wanted him fired, all he had to do was say his famous line and that would be that.

Again - it was within his powers as President to fire him anyway. So the whole point is moot. Even that's exactly what happened, you can't impeach a President for exercising a Constitutionally-granted power (so says Democrat Alan Deshowitz, Harvard Law Professor and Constitutional expert). The whole argument you're making is further made irrelevant in that a DOJ memo has already declared that if the (PAY ATTENTION) underlying alleged crimes are determined to have NOT occurred (ie, a "not guilty" on "collusion" - which happened), there CANNOT be "obstruction" PERIOD. In short, you can't be guilty of obstructing an investigation into a crime that you DIDN'T COMMIT. so again, it just doesn't matter what angle you want to take. Finally, Mueller was asked point blank if he was obstructed in any way, with specific examples, to which he answered "NO." So dim-witted Dems can beat this issue into the ground into 2020 as long as they want but it's not going anywhere other than people are tired of it (even Democrats) and it will cause them to lose in 2020 by an even wider margin than they otherwise would have.

Manafort can change his plea , get pardoned, get a new court case down the road and recoup his money (Unlikely) but that threat is there.
