These were my favorite, followed closely by my cap guns and bike for outdoors. also, there was creepy crawlers and a mini forge where you could actually make your own toys. the lead foundry (can't remember the name) is banned now for obvious safety reasons, i never got hurt with it but i guess i passed the natural selection test, lol

My dad had me hiking as a 5 yo carrying one of those on my grandfather's farm. lol but your parents were religious.

We're all Christians, yes. Lol. That had nothing to do with the gun thing, though. My Mom wasn't too keen on her young daughter holding something related to a weapon, in an area where guns were (and still are) heavily frowned upon. I'm in a different region now, and my future kids will learn gun safety from an early age.

My parents weren't. But to be fair, my sister never went out with a gun. Although we had a 100 acres in the country and adjacent farms. Not much livestock tho.

Were you more into crops?

My grandparents rented out the fields to people growing canola, beans etc.
