He was a geek about electricity like me and appreciated the same things that i do, and generally speaking he was a really well rounded guy...I'd love to sit down with him and a few beers and talk about all the modern advances in technology we have today. Although admittedly i would be a little intimidated. the guy would be wanting to know all about why things work and i don't think i could explain all of it the way that he'd probably want me to, he'd probably think i was a dumbass, lol

That would be awesome to meet him! (Although now I wonder if he sounded like Walter Cronkite! 😆)

I've never thought about how someone back then would sound! I suppose in reality they all probably still had pretty thick english accents, maybe with some different inflections and colloquialisms...interesting thoughts

Maybe some day! Yeah, I'm an 80s child too, grew up listening to Billy Joel, four seasons, whitney Houston, journey, CCR, and a bunch of other really good ones. I could see how it'd be cool to meet some of them, which is your favorite?

Actually I'm more of a rock guy: Whitesnake, Pat Benatar, and the like. Even some heavier groups like Queensryche and the Scorpions.
