Players selected to play on a national team represent America, ALL of America. If and when they win and get invited to the White House, which is the house of ALL the people, they need to go so that all of America can celebrate in the win. If any player has any issue with going to the White House to celebrate the win, representing the entire country, then they should not accept playing on the team. Playing on a national team is not the venue for your personal politics.
