Exactly, it itself is a tool, not a replacement for actual statements.
I've said this of some people in the past, is there a name for the fallacy where their entire 'argument' consists solely of listing fallacies? All form (and simply the hollowed out framework), no content.
Some SJW PC spewing idiot on a site I used be on would repeat "that's a circuitous argument" over and over. That and the occasional anecdote plus a whole lotta smug was his entire argument. Did he really think no one whould notice he said nothing?
haha, people here wouldn't recognize me from back then. Them folks on that site were mostly Brits, Euros, Aussies, Canucks, etc, and "America, because the world is jealous" was muh mantra.
Then Trump got elected and rubbing my Yankee nuts in their face didn't seem that funny anymore.
