I’m sure atheists don’t refute the existence of god plainly on the on the fact they can’t see it.
We can’t see gravity or most gasses but can prove their ‘existence’ using scientific evidence.
But as for flat earthers .. yes SILLY.

No, they do not, but the notion of "Seeing is Believing" has to be one of the most foundational reason for their disbelief. It certainly serves to make them laugh at us as we do and sacrifice so much for a divine being, that to them, does not exist.

Well, pictures from space have shown that the earth is indeed globular. The point remains, though, and I agree with you.

You're quite right in that; and even in the days of Galileo and Copernicus, should instinctively lead one to conclude that if Venus is round as also the Moon and the Sun, why no the earth? It is just that the notion of the universe revolves around earth seem so sensible and appealing that clues already mentioned gets lost.
