California is the world's 5th largest economy, FIFTH, and NYC is the most important city in the world, the cultural & economic driver that keeps the rest of the world flowing, and that includes the festering backwater cesspool you live in whose main industry is shopping at Walmart and contribution to culture is selfies while shopping at said Walmart.

Again, you miss the point, mikkiscorpion. We have a language, English, in our country. When I visited Spain years ago, I spoke Spanish, German in Germany, and French in France out of respect for their native languages. It all goes back to the lack of assimilation we currently have in America (due to illegal entry) that we did not experience when people waited in line and were tested and approved for entry. There is a lack of respect for our traditions and culture while people come here and assume we should change to their habits, customs and language. The "press 1 for English" will soon be replaced by "press 1 for Spanish" if we allow liberalism to overtake our common sense and sanity in this country. What makes you hate America so much?

English is not the official language of the United States. There is no official language of the United States: freedom and liberty. It takes just as much time to press 2 as to press 1. I don't think I've ever heard such whining about something so inconsequential to our lives.
