They are still the ones that built up the place and developed it, you would never see anything nearly like this is the native africans were the ones developing it. Image here is of a stone bridge, even something as simple as this is beyond the scope of Africans. Don't bullshit me that they could develop things like the example you gave if they can't even fix a stone bridge, since things like skyscrapers are much more complicated things than this.

If you want me to take you seriously, show me a place in Africa that hasn't been touched by European settlers and has the same degree of development.

Americans are not so ass backwards that their most advanced tools are a pointy stick that they throw at others, that comparison is amazingly stupid on so many levels. Americans could build more advanced bridges and even more importantly, they could rebuild them if they got destroyed by natural disasters.

The reason why Africa is a shithole is cause Africans have no ability to make use of the resources that they have. Funny enough, Africa is insanely rich on resources. They would be quite well-off, if they knew how to make use of it. That is one of their greatest problems, they never made it past the most basic hunter-gatherer societies for multiple reasons. This is why Africa is a shithole, them being poor is just a result of them being shit at creating wealth from the start.

The greatest irony is that Africa is being re-colonized again, this time by the Chinese. Funny how colonialism is bad when white people do it, now that the Chinks are doing it then it's A-OK.

because it makes the entire massive continent of Africa seem like just a country, which makes it seem smaller, and therefore less significant. (that's why I get pissed off anyways)

Not to mention the multiple actual countries that run vastly different from one another, not to mention tribal pre-colknized roots. It's just dumb. Europe isn't considered a country, and neither is Asia. Somehow Africa got the short end of that stick.
