Not to mention the flagging does nothing.

Someone actually has to got through them all, so while some do it contantly, that's a burden and time on someone who can be doing other things, or at least concentrating on significant flags instead of flooded with butthurt bunk.

That makes no sense. Grind's basic stance was that he was on some sort of exalted mission to spread the truth - The Glorious Trump, The Leaked Secrets as Revealed by the Q Anon, CIA & FBI & Deep State Secret Ops Entering Imgflip, The Dastardly Goings on with Bronygate.
Grind wanted his comments to bite and bite hard, just not his ass.

He was also a tad unselfconscious of whatever it was he said coming across as a bit off in the head.

The dude knows how to make alts - he had done it, one shortly before getting deleted, another after. BV made several, at least one still in use.
