That's even worse, honestly. He recognizes that it's vicious and horrible but still thinks it's a good idea.

LOL, the "problem" you're pointing out with his "quote" is something he never said. Repeating that it is a direct quote over and over will not change that fact that you're reading into it something that is not there.

I was angry at Obama for bowing to the Japanese emperor, because America was founded on democracy and freedom from tyranny, and no American President should ever put himself beneath a monarch, but Trump's idolization of totalitarian regimes and mimicking of dictators is much much scarier. It's amazing to think that this could happen in America, "the land of the free". There was a time when conservatives would have been the loudest voices against tyranny, but that time is in America's past.
