It only did two seasons?  Wow, funny show!  I remember catching a few subliminals they put in.  One was a jumping frog.  That show always reminds me of Kids in the Hall...

I got introduced to it back in the early 90s...bootleg VHS from a Buffalo PBS station.  Found it online (tuning couches) and rewatched the whole brilliant bloody mess.

My friend used to keep a log of all the subliminals he found; given that I'm a KITH fan as well, I do see their potential influence.  But both The Young Ones and Kids in the Hall are beneficiaries of the absurdist humour of Monty Python - especially since in my favourite episode of The Young Ones,"Nasty," Terry Jones guested as the Vicar.
