I'd say from a Christian standpoint, which not everyone rolls with, inherent sinfulness (our natural inclinations to be bad) is the worst. Narcissism would stem from that for sure, and from narcissism stems apathy, boastfulness, stubbornness, and many other bad traits. But again, not everyone sees things the way I do.
