If the people propagating the twisted concept had a shred of honesty, yes it would. The idea that identity of the victim compounds the severity of the crime is absurd. Murder is murder, assault is assault, period. The idea of a "hate crime" is just another example of the Left driving their identity politics wedge deeper.
