What I find disturbing is that somehow becoming a millionaire makes one a success and supposedly is the model of what all good Americans should aspire to.

Let's not forget the fact there cannot be the relatively poor without the relatively rich. But also is it really money we even should be striving for even if it goes against what is good for the Earth, and all humanity, and generally lacks meaning?

No, we're not just asking for Jobs, even good paying ones. We're asking for something with soul and general goodness, something that this predatory capitalistic system is clearly lacking.

Meh. Pure capitalism is fair and good. Corporations are cancer. Everything in America is turning into a cartel. Feeding and housing people like pets is not compassion.

We agree that corporatism is cancer. To qualify I didn’t just say capitalism, but predatory capitalism is lacking often creating jobs that neither have meaning nor are good for society and the environment. Yet people for good reason associate jobs and or money with their survival. We need a balance which clearly we do not have, and it’s killing us physically and spiritually.
