Wait that’s illegal

Actually, I've never been to a metal concert yet. Kiss will be in my area this August, so hopefully I will be able to see them.

I went to the Rock Am Ring in Germany last summer, so got to see a good few metal bands. Although the line up was pretty poor that year. Hoping to see Iron Maiden live at some point. Had tickets to see them a few years ago but couldn't go due to my exams.
Not sure what part of New York you are from, but I imagine there will be plenty of opportunities to get to see some great bands 😉

Sounds amazing... I'd love to travel to a concert in another country, but I can only speak English so it could be difficult.
I very much enjoy listening to metal bands from the late 1970s to the early '90s. The problem is just that: I love the way they sounded back then, but now they've gotten older and don't necessarily sound like they did back in the day :(
I still think I'll be seeing some concerts, but I'm not as enthusiastic about it as I COULD be. Oh well, time moves on I suppose

English is the only language I have as well 😅There was definitely a language barrier which made getting around quiet difficult but it was definitely still worth going.
That's the worst part of liking bands from different generations. Although there are a few artists that are still performing as well as they did years ago. I just wish I knew more people around my own age who shared the same interest in older music. When I go to concerts I'm often one of the youngest people there 😂

It seems that most young folks prefer newer music (i.e. Shawn Mendez, or Imagine Dragons) that I wouldn't be caught dead listening to. Fewer seem to be interested in the legendary bands of yore - although there is a very passionate minority which do. And in another 20 years, almost all the great rockers will have died. Too sad. Then all we'll have is Youtube and old cds -_-

The legendary bands of yore haha, that's a great way of describing them 😆. The music that is being produced now ( if you could even call it music ) doesn't hold a candle to the old greats.
