If you think discriminating based on gender is bad, why would you base your vote on someone's gender?

Exactly. While I can't, or don't, want to speak for those on the right, or republicans, I suspect most of them have absolutely no problem with a woman being president.

But that certainly doesn't mean anyone should vote for a woman just because she's a woman. That's as bad as voting against her because she's a woman.
